or by a new boat...
its not called used for no reason. looks pretty good to me. Nothing a good rigger couldn't clean up for a few bucks. |
The 28 Apache listed on Ebay is a good used boat for a 1988, the owner is a nice guy and very informative about the boat, I tried to get him to sell it today, but he want to let the Ebay auction Ride. Will have to see what happens????? like the old saying goes money talks, BS walks AR15mester,

I wonder what his reserve is.... I personally would need to do alot to that boat to get it where I would want it which is why I said it looked rough. if it has a transom leak that is a whole other story, is that true? |

What's rough about it? It's an 88'....
Interior is newer, paint looks good...deck shines nice... The picture of the engines isn't great and you can't even see any details.. If you're serious about buying one of these 28's you need to travel out there and look at it in person. Or need to re-evaluate your budget IMHO. :( Budget has gone up but I still want a 28 It is tough to fly all over the US looking at boats when you have work to do but if I can find a nice one I am buying it. |
I dont think its too bad for a 20 year old boat, his reserve is low enuff, but the boat will probally need motors and drive work, he thinks the bellows are leaking, I personaly think its the transom. I think it would be a great project boat, but it will take alot of money to make it right.

While we are talking about 28's. Has anybody ever replaced the gas tank in one? I understand its just a matter of time in these old boats, or is it???????????
LSU shouldn't be allowed to play a BCS game in the superdome:D |

Who cares about motors, drive, and gas tanks, for what this guy on Ebay is going to let the boat go for it would be worth haveing it, I would just like to park it outback and look at it. i never have time to use my boats anyway:cool-smiley-011:
