Trust me, you'll be justifying more than just missing work when you own an Apache LOL! :p:D:cool-smiley-026:

It's exciting, that's for sure. We were fortunate to get at least 6 weeks of boating in when we took possession of ours. It'll have to get us through to May '08.

Matt,
Congratulations on your purchase of Kageman, I hope you have a lot of fun with it. If you have any questions about the boat let me know as I originally bought the boat when it was "Bushwacker" and refurbished it to "Kageman"

Kind of ironic as I live in Inverness and I see you are from Barrington, I also keep my current boats in Winthrop Harbor.

Good to see the Apache coming back to Illinois.

Kageman

Thanks for the info on the boat. I suppose its even more ironic that you sold the Apache to buy your Fountain, and I sold my Fountain to buy the Apache.

Since we boat out of Winthrop too, we will probably see you when the snow melts.

Where did the name Kageman come from?

Maui- are you keeping it?

Stormrider 12-03-2007 08:26 AM

chris, i believe the owner that named it manufactured animal cages.

kageman 12-03-2007 08:58 AM

You are correct, I am a stainless steel manufacturer, one of my product lines we manufactured is animal caging and equipment for the veterinary and pharmaceutical industries.

My website is www.suburbansurgical.com if you are curious.

Darn. And I thought Kageman was some mystical Indian thing... ;)

We had the same discussion about the name of this boat too last week.

I asked Rob if Kageman had sort of tribal attachment to it......guess not! :D But it's nice to know where the names come from.
