I MENTIONED A COMPARISON? I went directly off of your quoted statement. Please, feel free to refresh my memory!!! Apache's excellent safety record is tied, directly, to the fact that they have not put out that many boats in the last few years.

Without el indio's boat there wouldn't be a lot of funding for boat projects, in the early days, for Apache. There may not be any checkered flags for that white and red boat, but, there is a lot of history behind it. It is lightweight and able to hold a few tons of cargo. Old and tired? Maybe(I haven't looked at the structure of the boat). But one thing is for sure...he USES the boat and runs it frequently.

Nope, I don't see any mention of another powerboat company. My comments are focused on Mark McManus' powerboat building prowess. Also, now that you mention it, Apache does have an excellent safety record.

Allez Vite is a awesome Apache with a race history! Money is the key ingredient for any high end powerboat. I follow every Brinks truck I see hoping a large bagful of cash will fall out. LOL!

we are not talking about that history, I don't know were I heard that there were many boats back then not just one.
