Excellent analysis that answers my question. I personally don't care for the 54 wind fairing. The original was much more attractive, IMHO. However, the owner is extremely tall and needed it raised.
I hope someone takes the opportunity to re-rig the 54. They will then have the opportunity to redo the wind fairing, bustle, and engine hatch. Thanks, TC Of all the "new" modernized Apache's and Apache siblings I like Tsunami, the 42' Chief now being offered by Banana (7-10 mph faster with same power than a regular 41') and the Saber. Does anyone wonder what if Saccenti and McManus HAD gotten along and used their talnts in a combined effort what that outcome might have been? We will never know but it could only have helped the tribe! I have been facinated with Apache Powerboats since the first 36 came to my dealer in town. Then a trip to 188th and wham I was hooked. Would like to get a Saccenti 36 at some point in my life and just hate to see the brand not living up to its potential.
