Thinking of selling the CC...

I might have to let this go to free up some money. I have to figure out how to post pics which I will try and do tonight.

Quick details...

1996 28' Apache/Unlimited Powerboats Center Console. This boat was built by Eric Froberg off the 28 Brave mold. I don't recall how many are left but I would guess under 10.

HIN is UPI28011E596

Twin 250 EFI Mercs '97. One was just fully rebuilt with about 40 hours and the other has about 400 hours. All Gaffrig gauges. Kept under Full cover.

Only minor problem with the boat is that it has a few soft spots in the floor behind the console and on the front deck. I talked with Eric and he said that the stingers are sealed so no worries with that.

I had an estimate for pretty much a whole new floor for about $3,500.

Besides that I have had her to just over 71mph. Awsome boat and everyone wants to come up and talk about it.

Origianlly bought at Gov't auction in Miami. Once you get the floors up you might find something worth while...hahaha:drink:

I will try and get some pics up tonight...

PrzwoH2O 08-14-2008 06:35 PM

More Pics..

PrzwoH2O 08-14-2008 06:37 PM

One More...

These pics are about 6 months old. New Apache decals have been put on in place of the old ones on the sides. Also you can see a little mildew on the front seat. That has all been cleaned.

I will try and get some more recent ones. Maybe try and get a few of it in the water.

Let me know what you guys think...

corrado 08-15-2008 07:18 AM

Looks cool. It should make someone a nice rig.

LEOPAJM 08-15-2008 08:37 AM

Very cool !

How much $$$ ???

PrzwoH2O 08-15-2008 11:13 AM

Well I would look to get out of it what I have in it.... Don't have a trailer but has been stored on the lift with Full cover.

I would go no lower than $25k. I would like to get $30k but since the floor has about $3,500 worth of work I would take $25k. Not that it needs it right away...just have to watch your step in a few places..

Awesome boat for the price!! Would make a nice addition for someone with a real Big Dog Apache...

Oh and it has two 100 gallon fuel tanks for those extra long runs to Cuba.....

BUMP for a beautiful boat! If I had an available lift I would own it

SKRAMER 11-04-2008 06:22 PM

Did she sell???

PrzwoH2O 11-05-2008 07:00 AM

Not yet. Haven't really been advertising except a few posts in some places and by word of mouth. Love the boat so much...

I just want it to go to a good home and an enthusiast that knows what they are getting and will take care of her...

You are pretty much related to the owners of Thunder Marine..... I am sure you could find a lift...hahaha...

apache727 11-05-2008 01:31 PM

I thought that was the solution to my problem!!! They are moving the dearlership off the water to the original location on Tyrone and they are selling there house on the water and moving to a new condo they built! I have a place to leave it in the water but I don't want to do that. And if I trailered it, it wouldn't fit between my dad's boat and race trailer at the car lot. I am full of excuses but I have thought this out for a long time I want it bad

Eric Froberg 11-05-2008 04:13 PM

I wanted to keep that one for myself when I built it

PrzwoH2O 04-08-2009 12:14 PM

Still for sale..... $17k... Killer Deal..

SKRAMER 04-08-2009 12:22 PM

Email me some more pics. Thanks Scott.. [email protected]

Nothing here either...

Eric Froberg 05-01-2009 07:28 AM

As it was new

LEOPAJM 05-01-2009 08:46 AM

Those are the same boat Eric ?

Eric Froberg 05-02-2009 06:46 PM

It is. I did the first sea trial before I painted it. This was one nice boat. Before the paint that is. Never liked the indian or the colors. But, that is what the original owner wanted so that is what he got. This boat lived in the Redlands until is was siezed.

apache727 05-08-2009 10:39 AM

$17k is a killer deal for this boat! Just needs a trailer and some floor work. If I had room for another boat I WOULD OWN IT! If Justin drops the price on it anymore I'll make room!!! The boat is FAST and rides awesome!

PrzwoH2O 05-11-2009 09:10 AM

Sorry to all for no pics. I have them. I have been hesitant on selling it. Every time I take it out I realize how much I love the boat.

I will get some pics up this afternoon or tonight. I promise.

Also thanks Eric for the original pics. It was a seized boat because we bought it at a Federal Auction.

If anyone has any questions. Call me 727-459-9047.

Have a flats boat I really want to buy so someone come pick it up this week before I take it out again and change my mind!!!

Justin.

laszlo01 05-12-2009 01:31 PM

Apache Center Console

Well after a long time of e-mails I have finally brought home the 28 CC, we will be starting the restoration of it here in Michigan and look forward to getting it back into its original condition. I was wondering how many of these are left out there ? I understand less than 10 where built. Trying to piece together the history on it as well. Any Info would be appreciated.

JCG 06-26-2009 09:32 AM

Congrats on your new boat! Have fun restoring it,, and post pics!!
