Once my knees got better from the replacement in late '18, I wanted another 41. I actually looked at this very boat in '98 after FPC Key West poker run, but eventually opted for Medicine Man in early '99. Then when the Tonto boat came available, I switched to that boat. I had always kept up with this boat's whereabouts and Mark McManus was able to get me in touch with the previous owner. as they say, the rest is history!

15 years ago? I was told had a header leak, got it fixed, some time later started leaking again. Then kids were into sports and stuff and life just happened. And here we are today with restored version of Tom Tom. I wanted to keep the boat very similar to the way that it was and still make it my own. Boat ran awesome on the sea trial thanks to everyone involved. Next up is prop testing, that black hole science of performance boating!

Yep I was going to say it had been over 10 years because Dave bought my buddies sheet metal shop back in 2008 and that’s when I met him. I used to boat by his house every weekend heading out of Bonita and saw it never moved so I asked him why and he said one of the motors was hurt and that was all he said.

So I’m pretty sure it was parked around 2008-9 which is a shame because he had just bought my buddies shop 5 miles away by the dogtrack that could have housed 8 of them plus it included a 2500 sq foot insulated and a/c storage building. .

Were there 900hp Carolina motors in there ?
