Tank,
I love the ladder you put on your trailer!! I don't know if I have enough tongue length to install one like that on my trailer though.
I am doing the restoration on the trailer with the help from some god friends.
CHEERS!

Jigged up the fenders and welded them on.

Welded in new tongue, more to come, and raised some of the stanchions to make the trailer fit the Apache hull and raise the bow about 8 inches. I raised the bow in order for water to drain out while the boat is on the trailer without having to jack the trailer up so high. The trailer was originally built for a Sonic boat and the Apache sat bow down on the trailer.

Jig for raising the most forward stanchions as these had to be cut off and new ones installed.

Tool boxes installed and plate welded on top of tongue where old surge brake rollers were.

Cut'n out the cancer and gonna weld in new pieces when it warms back up! I don't like being outside when it's 20 degrees anymore!!
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Looking fantastic!!!

Regarding tongue length, they cut mine and added a whole new front portion to accommodate the ladder.

your trailer is gonna look real
mice under that beautiful boat! Thanks for posting pics.

ps, love the dual boxes. Wish I would’ve done that. Don’t know if you’re planning on it, but we mounted all EOH equipment inside the box to keep it all clean looking. Works great except it took up some room in the box I have. This, wish I had another. But there’s enough room for pro wrench’s chalks, tie down straps etc.

Also, sorry to go on and on! But we also did a bunch of small LED light and “runway” white LEDs under the boat. Looks cool at night. Just food for thought while it’s torn all the way down.

Tank,
Thanx. Yeah, with the drive guard I'm going to add I'm at the limit on length for my storage spot, so really can't add length to the tongue. I'm going to put 2" LEDs down the side of the trailer for marker lights, old school. I'm looking at maybe doing something from Boogey Lights for accent lighting. But, not sure I'll be towing at night much anymore, old eyes don't like it.
