If that is the one that was at Legendary, I went and looked at it. If I remember he was in the low 30's and they said he wouldn't budge.

When I saw it it was in OK shape, nothing special. The cabin was soaking wet cushions and everything supposedly from a leaky hatch.

My old 28 was the same way when I bought it. Not sure why they put a seam in the middle.

Agree. (and yes on the 28) for 20 grand I would buy it, yank the 454s out, paint it, strip it and re-rig it. Put some legit power built for it, say 540s. Have about 40k in, and have a completely restored 28 with fresh 600hp power per side (85mph maybe) and then go out in 4 footers looking for 35 Fountains.
But that is just a dream. I would never do it.

Just lazy installation. When I did my phantom I did it as one piece, a ***** of a job for one person but plenty doable.

If anyone is in the market for a 28' Apache I HIGHLY recommend checking out my 29' Phantom. Will knows this one well and it is just a strong as any 28' in the rough. Single power and FULLY updated.
