Only one 45?

Some people are saying there were two 45's. To set the records straight, anyone know the HIN's of both boats? Surely this will end all speculation.

there was only one made, the rds kid apache boat. some people were saying that megatoy is a 45, but in reality I think it is a 42 Comanche with triples, done later by Mr. McManus.

50's/47's
1. apache heritage owned by Omar. although bow was cut down for visibility, it made the boat 47 ft, but it started as a 50.(pictured above) I may be wrong on the original starting length, if Omar pops on I can edit it... :)

I thought it was 47' cut down to 45???

you may be right, that's why i labeled it 50/47...i thought it was 50 and that's why they used the number 50 on the boat. maybe Bobby can shed some light on it.

I can give you information regarding PTM Express aka Chunk Express aka Lucky Strike. It was owned by my father Phil Meshinsky and rigged by Bobby Moore. It was the sister ship of Ben Kramer’s 47 so you know it was built right. One race that comes back to mind is the World Finals in Key West where Phil passed ALL the four engines Cat’s (Gentry, Don Johnson to name a few) and finished 2nd to Eric’s Reality (I believe that was the name of the boat). Offshore racing back then was 150+ Miles with 13-18 boats in his class. PTM Express was one the best out there. Phil now owns a 41 Apache in NJ.

What speeds did that tripple 47 run when it was Lucky Strike?
