Josh, Not an Apache per se but there was a Neutech, New Era, whatever the name was.....the design later became the Chief.. The first one built had triple diesels and went to the islands or bermuda or something like that. A few years ago there was a listing on yacht trader, unfortunately I didn't save it.

I'll see if I can find out but I think there was also a 36' Diesel. There was also a 36' Outboard boat.

There was a 35' Majestic Apache with Catepillars built by Bobby.

Cool.. If you find that old ad or any pics of the bilge of a 36' with diesels send it my way. I am curious from a rigging perspective what exactly I would be getting myself into.

Josh, Bob never built any 36 with diesels, sorry

According to Bob, the diesel engines with good HP will be too heavy.. The light diesels do not make good HP for that sizes boat..

Bob also built a 52' Apache with three Yanmar 350 / xr bravo drives..

I saw a post, in al old thread, with a picture of a 28' Apache that was loaded onto a mega-yacht, as a tender. The poster said it had twin Yanmar diesels and a retractable swim platform. Any info on that one??

Sorry, I didn't ask. I'm out of town this week but if I get a chance I'll see what I can find out.
