There is currently 2 41's (exciter, renegade), my 36', and steves old 28' that call the lake home. This past weekend blue moon 36' was visiting for the festivities.
I believe exciter was in Florida when he purchased it and he told me he went through the motors a couple of winters ago.
All I know is I was trying to leave at the same time as him on Saturday and by the time I got through the no wake he was long gone eating up the bumps.

Here's one that sounds easy that is driving me nuts. I broke the blower belt on one of our 800's, and it was my last belt. The belt reads "Super Chiller 680K16".
I bought the 1700mm belt from TBS, which was the longest one they had, and it was too short. Any ideas???
FYI - Boat runs bad without a blower belt... go figure...

Is it a rib, 8MM or 1/2" pitch?
There's a company called Jason that makes blower belts. You may also be able to get it from Weiand. I got my last set of belts from Summit, they were Weiand belts.

Too bad, I won't see the belt until next week. Lake Michigan forecast today is for waves up to 14 feet if you go out a ways. That would be wild!!! I tried 10's in a 35 Fountain... not so much fun.

Hey Wes!! What's up? Did you get another boat yet??
Your old boat hates me. Trailer axles have bent, tires have blown, blower shafts have sheared, belts have broken (obviously), battery chargers have fried, carbs have clogged, water pumps have puked, guages died, fuses have blown, bought new exhaust-but the water Feds didn't approve, so I bought different ones, bilge pumps failed and through hull fittings have leaked (bad combo)... and I've only put 20 hours on the boat.
Having said that, Apaches rock, and I will never own another performance boat without an Indian head on the side...
