I live on my 43 Portofino now, I love this boat TONS of room and she is/was way ahead of her time in style and comfort.

What is the story on this Portofino? Who is the guy who did all the work?
It was totaly gutted and restored by Bob Saccenti.

I believe it is solid fiberglass.

The damn thing is overbuilt......the engine room is huge for an express cruiser and very wide beam.

The hull mold was from Bertram. No complaints so far with the boat. I love mine.

Looked like a fun project. I would love to get into restoration like this when I retire. Thanks for the pics!

Wellcraft actually built a solid boat when they made the Portofino. I still think today its a lot of bang for the buck.

I tried, I just couldn't make it happen. Any suggestions? I tried enlarging them and they just get fuzzy.
