Default Apache Cats where are they???

Hey guys I'm just wondering how many where made 38's and 41's and any other sized if there were. Also where are they? have any been converted from race to pleasure and were any pleasure models made?

I love seeing all the Apache V's but don't see too many of the Cats, Also who actually made them?

The only one that I've seen lately has been Warpaint racing and that boat looks fantastic. Is that the old Canada Homes race boat that's been completly updated?

Thanks Troy

His was built by Thunder Power Boats in Ft. Myers. The previous owner is a close friend. I went down to see it, as it was being built. And, followed it back to Illinois, when it was finished.

Iron Head here on oso has a white 41' along with his restored 27' Magnum ANACONDA, both kept here on Lake St Clair.

Warpaint is the old Canada Homes if not mistaken.
The Cats were made by Maelstrom the first one I believe was wood and used as a plug for the molds.

Do a search here there´s quite a lot of info on them here.

the orignal wood cat raced by kramer , the glass cats i think 1 or 2 went over seas, mine is #8, and sister to cris lutomskis they were made for a company called interforce they were bouth used in oman as police boats , mine is in michigan, theres warpaint which was libles canada homes , alan finegold had one (the origanal kid apache), dave street had one called wild cat that red crain throttled for . theres a couple titled as king cats or" blue something" but i think there was only 8 to 10 made and titled as apaches... built like a tank, really heavy there good for100 mph with twin 850s the ride is much like a 76 caddy ,cruse at 75 mph with no hands on the wheel and drink in hand

blue lightings were built from a mold left outside too long and the lay up is sketchy. the mold has been laying outside in a storage place with gravel dirt and sun exposed, near my house forever, what a shame.

A decade later...any of these still around?
Would love to know some history on them.
