what is the last 41 that has sold, and what was the price it traded at??? this will give some insight. i really dont know though, so i cant tell you.

Panther 05-03-2011 11:13 AM

Who knows but from what I can tell, this one is priced to sell and the others seem over priced. Raz is priced to sell but it's a race-boat so that limits the buyers market a bit.

SS930 05-03-2011 11:46 AM

The price on this boat has been dropped significantly. Only down side I see to it is the pink paint, but to a lot of Apache owners I'm sure they see that as traditional Apache paint...

rchevelle71 05-03-2011 11:51 AM

Great boat at a great price, but the $80,000 plus maintenace and fuel is still a large nut to swallow for most in this economy.

Panther 05-03-2011 01:32 PM

The boat has received numerous praises on this and other forums for years. Also, the documented maintenance that has been done and witnessed by others should hold significant value.

I imagine the boat doesn't stay on the market very much longer.

Good luck to the sellers!

Shallow Minded 05-03-2011 04:51 PM

My $.02... limited number of folks who would be interested in this type of boat and even fewer who have $80K in cash to plunk down on a 22 year old boat. For the right person, it looks like a great deal on a great boat, though!

osur866 05-04-2011 12:29 AM

If I had an extra 80k just sittin around It wouldnt be on the market, I love the graphics and the pink is classic Apache and I like it!

Jupiter Sunsation 05-04-2011 06:31 AM

This boat, Medicine Man and the straight bottom Lipship TG are all great boats for their vintage and attractively priced.

THE 288 KID 05-04-2011 06:37 AM

Pony up Jupiter! Nice replacement for the long LOST sunny. Need a co-signer...?

I agree 100% with this

Insurance is tough too. $80K will buy a lot of less than 10 yr. old boat. Trust me, this used to be a dream boat. Now with the expense of running these things and the ability to do it on much less power, it is really hard to consider going back to an old boat.

50% down, you think it would still be tough?

nowadays boat loans are given based on a persons net worth rather than the value of the boat so basically you have to have the cash plus the cash in other assets to cover the vig from what I'm told.

Reggie 05-05-2011 05:19 PM

That's a great looking boat, love the pink paint, it's retro.
The motors would turn me away, they'll need some TLC more often the regular 'blue motors'.
But for 80 K, it seems priced to sell.

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 05-05-2011 06:21 PM

either way you are gonna have to have some cash...
and what some people dont realize is you are paying to maintain a 750,000 boat not an 80k boat. the expense starts after u buy it...

Exactly why I have an older boat... My membership to the country club costs a lot less than a new boat but still having the same benefits (costs, lol) of membership. :evilb:

TexomaPowerboater 05-06-2011 04:54 PM

If I lived on the coast or boated the great lakes and had the money I'd buy it for $80K. All these boats cost money to run. You have to pay to play. There is really no way around it. You either pay up front (new) or pay down the road (used). Even new ones will start eating up hardware after 2-300hrs. I prefer to think of used boats as "tested" boats:drink:

Really? The motors would turn you away? Please do your research about engine builders, before you make uneducated remarks like that one. Look at the internals of the Chief Engines and compare to the Mercs.

This is a better value than Jester. And the Panther is correct...It IS an exclusive club to be a member of. Its like owning a classic Ferrari.

VtSteve 05-12-2011 10:04 PM

I must spend at least $400 a year on maintenance now. No way this boat could cost more, right?

Your a freakin azzhole. Someday karma is destined to bite your dumb azz twice back.

Keep your b.s. elsewhere and out of this thread. This is about a Apache for sale not your little adgenda against another forum member.

Sick Stinger 05-13-2011 10:42 AM

That boat rocks. I was just on YouTube watching the old races and them running the nuts out of warpath in 4-8's running level and true.

I agree with everything you say, except being uneducated, they are great motors, but blower motors usually need more TLC than natural motors, that's all I was saying. Great looking boat, I love the old school boats.
I did not mean to disrespect this thread or boat in anyway.

This boat is BADASS and surprise noone has bought especially for the asking price

sprink58 05-16-2011 05:38 PM

I love a 41 Apache. In my mind that model is the "57 Chevy" of Offshhore Power Boating and I have always wanted one....and she's a looker.

If my lawyer calls me tomorrow and tells me that the bastards that fcked me out of $400K 2 years ago are ready to "come to Jesus"...I might be in trouble over this one.

I would defer an opinion to the man I trust most with knowledge of these boats...Tommy H.

That boat deserves a good home.

TURBO JET 05-16-2011 08:16 PM

Who is Tommy H ?
