Not knocking Pantera, Kudo's to them for picking up the mold and putting their own steps in it. |

Beautiful boat, no doubt! Purely my opinion but is it on the high side for a boat that's almost 12 years old and very limited production? How many Sabers were made?
There's a nice 42 Tiger w/6s on boxes for 155K as well. That one seems like the deal! In your opinion, what price would it take to have these boats change hands? It is the buyers market for sure. |

I believe the 3 engine configuration will add overall durability to the drivetrains by the 3rd unit soaking up some of the re-entry load, getting on plane load & just plain running hard use. Plus, as mentioned, the extra push when needed. All this & more.....for a price of course!
Center engine works it A** off because the center drive is the deepest. Also the center drive and prop take the most abuse. From a working stand point and prop damage being your lowest point. Still take a good staggered set-up any day. Even just for the mind set knowing it's much easier to crawl around and maintain. Jon |

WW is an awesome boat. If I were a serious buyer, I would call you to see if anything could be worked out regardless of asking price but that's just me. My friend has his boat listed for $225K, it's a 2005 51' OL with fresh 600's. The 2004' Cig I posted above, also for sale by a friend @ $225K. I wont move either and it's priced to sell with new engines, rebuilt drives and new transmissions. We even have a huge receipt for work done that would turn your head in circles. It also has all the bells and whistles of a pleasure boat. |

Jon Great post concerning the duties of the center drive. . 33 1/3% load for each unit. as opposed to 50% load in twins. Even if the center drive gets a few percent more than the other two..........the durability gain is substantial. Strong props are necessary & available. Ease of maintenance..the staggered configuration gets the nod. Ed |
ive never run a triple -- buyt have talked with a few that have and from what they have siad the center combo pushes closer to 45 % and the other 2 split the difference when running in the rough.
Kinda made sense to me as its the last to push off the wave and the first to reenter. This came up when i asked why the center engine was running a crash box, while the outside 2 were hyd trannies... |
