I saw the boat numerous times during the restoration process at McManus' factory. I stop by now and them to shoot the BS and Mark puts up with me.
The boatt has triple 750's with the Konrad drives on extension boxes. Mark's shop did all the paint and upholstery. I think it came out really well. It's got a 5 kw Kohler generator and AC for the cabin. It's a full cabin, too. Not a half cabin like I am used to seeing on performance boats.
Having gone through this process once before myself, it was almost as much fun to watch someone else's boat go through the transformation.
I have not been on the boat, but am told that it ran 83 mph at 5,200 rpm with Hering 5 blade props.
A really neat project, well executed by McManus' guys.

Here's some pics from KW in Nov. Thing looked great and drew a lot of response at the docks.
Like I said, look for a full story and detailed pics in the Jan issue of Powerboat which will be out mid/late Dec.

I know the Little Ceasers Pizza raceboat was for sale over a year ago. The cockpit was gutted and a new dash was glassed in place. A half cabin was installed. The last time I was in the boat it had been converted to twins with #6 and was painted all white. I'm surprised noone has picked it up to finish the restoration...

Is it a heavy one? bow looks pretty low in the 3rd pic.
