Not sure what u r doing for engines but I have a set of stainless marine headers set up for a 28 brave with tall decks. They are dry to the tail and fit right through factory transom holes. Let's say I had to do some reworkIng to make them fit
They work great and can b for sale if you need them Dave |

They work great and can b for sale if you need them Dave My drives/motors are about 34 inches on center. Most boats are 36 on center. Didn't want to spend several thousand , and find out they don't fit. I have 502 efis with bravos... I am interested in what you have also.. Are yours the cast aluminum units ?? What are you running now ?? Thanks Scott EMAIL IS BEST, or post . [email protected] |
I'd go with the Stainless marine. Lighter than tube headers and less chance for leaks in the future. The Hi Torques will take 750HP with no issues.

+1 on stainless marine.
I'm running stainless marine on mine. Its relatively easy to pull and drop in one motor without removing the exhaust. Spark plugs are a biotch, but can be done fairly easy if you pull the risers off first. |
So, 34" is the distance, center to center?
+1 on the stainless marines. My headers died and replacement cost is HIGH!... :eekdrop: |
Yes they are 34" centers. It was a bit of work to get tall decks in, but it worked well once in. Spark plugs were much worse to change with the blower engines in...

Measured mine this weekend and found 33", center to center. I measured and re-measured and could not get 34", so for mine 33" it is. Any thoughts??
