Nicest current 41???

I always thought sacred ground was the nicest but it's torn apart, so which 41 is the king right now??

Stormrider 09-06-2012 08:53 AM

Nicest? That's kinda subjective, no?
My fav has been and still is Lucy's Merc Special / ChiroOne.

nicest 41: TONTO

Brad 09-06-2012 12:09 PM

Tonto is sweet!

panich53 09-06-2012 12:15 PM

Way to many variables.... do you want a wave crusher or the fastest? Is the best technology the nicest, or a boat that is more "old school"? How about interiors is a 3 man long dash the nicest or a 6 man all new interior and gauges? Do you want to have to manually select the fuel tanks from toggle switches or to have the tanks automatically transfer fuel to one running tank?

I have been lucky enough to run on 5 different 41's and they are all different and each one of them was nice in a different way. I realize I didn't answer your question, but its too tough in my opinion.

soggy bottom 09-06-2012 04:23 PM

How long was hammer head under water?

Comanche3Six 09-06-2012 05:39 PM

Tonto & Flyin Falcon are certainly two contenders for that position. In a side by side setup I would think Ultimate Warrior II would also be near the top spot.

Yeah it's a 42 comanche, my favorite comanche but i'm sure it's built out of the 41 apache mold, i would like to run a tape measure over it to see:party-smiley-004:

Apparently not long enough to cause damage. From what I hear, the boat was Carbon/Kevlar which is rare. When the boat was fully restored; every nut, bolt and washer was replaced and the structure of the boat was/is solid.

I wouldn't let that stop you, just bring your moisture meter to the seatrial and test the (any any boat) boat before you stroke the check. ;) There are lot of boats that have sunk and bought knowingly and unknowingly which are better boats then new.
