I was curious how tall Apache made there race hatches???? So if anybody can measure there hatches and let me know it would be appreciated.

mine are 7 1/2 high i have two race hatches off a 41 apache for $2,500

Thanks Kid Apache I already built some. I just wanted to see if I was close to the heights of the race boats.
Where all the hatches built to the same height or did that change between engine heights

the KV hatches are about 5inches tall and i was going to double the height but that may be to tall but i do want a nasty old school look/hatch

LOL No worries Sneak Attack. I agree with having a cool old school look. That's why i went with the ones i did. Modeled them off the Apaches and Ajac hawk race boat. If the Apache hatches are 7 what a few more inches!!!!! If you have anymore questions ask me i will post it up so you can get an answer!!!!!lol
