I believe step was a mold insert, not a seperate mold and was incorporated into the Chief design. I don't think you can get it anymore. I'm not totally sure but that's my best guess. You'd have to ask Bobby.
Hey Panther, from what I remember reading I think your right. It was an insert... I have never been on the one in Ohio but we are friends with the owner. He take really good care of the boat. To be honest, I really didn't know it was a stepped hull until I saw it up for sale... :)
