It's original paint job was nice 2. This is the third I believe. It's an great boat Mark did a really nice job on its restoration, it need a full redo.

The boat is AWESOME, best Apache out there at any price but this boat is a commitment to use. It isn't a "take it out on a whim" type machine like a smaller/twin engine boat. This would be one of those boats that you probably need an hour of "pre-launch" time to knock out a punchlist, then run it for a few hours and 2 hours of cleanup/flush time after your done. This also would be a tough boat to launch solo especially at a busy ramp.

I suspect the NT 50 turbine boats would be the same commitment and those canopy 47-51-52 OL's as well.

Agreed. My 46 cig is basically the same way. What you described is pretty accurate. It's a hassle to use, but once you're away from the docks it makes it all worthwhile.

I would have a hard time paying $300k for a straight bottom offshore, regardless of the brand name or history... although this one would be one bad-azz ride to own, even if it only got used a few times a year. :cool:
