I know this thread is a few years old but did this ever get finished? If this is the one that was in Stamford Conn. (White with flag graphics) I called one number and texted the other number to a guy named Steve listed as the owner a few weeks ago. He actually responded but obviously it was gone, lol
. I did not realize until after calling that the listing was from 2014 on powerboats classifieds.
. Figured I would try to see if it was restored or possibly available to be bought? If for some crazy reason it could be for sale please let me know, thank you
. Jeff

My brother in law bought it, put it all back together, and I ran the hell out of it in some local runs. He sold it a few years ago and I believe it’s on the Great Lakes now with a wrap over the original graphics. Awesome boat

Thanks, that's awesome to hear and I bet you had some fun. I was so pumped when I found the ad for 13k and thought I had the score of the century right up to the point when I found the listing date in microscopic numbers under the listing for 2014, lol

I have her. It's been quietly sitting in the barn & yard waiting for me to get around to it. Wrap is back off it, its not on the great lakes but PA. Rebuilt the trailer in March. All new bearing buddies & axle etc. Wrap that was on it left a ton of glue and thankfully only pulled paint in a few small areas. Interiors clean but the front bolsters and rear bench need redone. Side panels & hatch still ok. Some repairs on the bottom and bulkhead over the years. Likely going to put a transom, stringers, and a bulkhead repair in her. Bottom needs some glass work and will be done correctly. Original paint still in great shape as well as the cabin. Have some 2.3 back fed efi mefi whipples and 454s and HD transoms sitting around for it. Likely will raise x dimension to 4-4.5" under when I get around to it. She's dry and indoors and under a expensive sunbrella full cover I had made for her.

Cool, the paint looks great in the pictures. They are great boat, never worthless IMO. The bottom is solid glass until you get to the chines and they have a cored hull sides and deck. They are sensitive to weight IMO, If you can match the stock weight distribution with steal manifolds and heads it will be much better balanced. Never heard of anyone changing the X dimension on these, why not just go with some shorty lowers? It's going to be really expensive if it doesn't work and I have a hard time concluding that the original setup was not the best given the pedigree and history of the company and it's people at the time it was built.

Experimented with your old one a ton when Nick had it. 6-6.5" under was ok with 3 blades, but had 4 blades been around likely it would have been up higher. Have -2 and std length imco sc lowers laying around, and if a transom being done will see which is which whether raise or lower. Done a fair amount of x dimension changes on another hull to find alot of mph left over, coupled with similar non notched transom boats like powerplay 33 found 8 mph with just raising x dimension to 4 blade specs and the efi motors (well documented on OSO) by the builders.
