Default Apache Scout 22, first pix.

This was listed as a 22, but most of the Scouts I see are called 21's. Not sure if its the extra Euro Step I have on both sides of the transom, maybe that extends the length to 22?

I really like it, it's super solid, and when I get an interior and the right engine on it, new gauges, etc, should be a blast.

Interesting boat. I've never seen that deck design on a Scout. The one pic says Royal Marine Apache Scout??? Do you have a HIN number that starts with APH?

Yes, its an APH and my buddy called Saccetti up before I bought it and asked him about it, supposedly built by Vic Cooper(?) for Bob.

Its a solid boat, really built tough, solid marine ply, Klegecell in the foredeck, glass is thick and its a really strong feeling hull. I'm going to have my guys go over the crap like tanks and get the engine running enough to go play with it and then decide what else to do.

I'm making my own polish, so its been a guinea pig for a bunch of different compounds, it was chalked really bad, and its coming out nice and shiny.

Funny thing, I'm in Palm City and there was a dealer in Stuart for these- Charlies Locker, which is now I think Manatee or something, so there may be more of these around here. The strength of this boat and its awesome build quality make it an easy and worthwhile fix. I've been messing with my Hydrostream, which I really like, but its like paper compared to this one. I have an Allison as well, which is really solid and well built, but nothing like this tank...

I've seen a few of them around on long Island, this one in NJ has been for sale for quite some time... http://newjersey.craigslist.org/boa/4442415590.html We all know they are 21's (22's) he's calling it a 24, I guess with the setback from tip to tip its 24'.

Panther Yours is looking good!
