I picked up a 5.7 and a Alpha Drive. I hope to have her in the water Mid Apr. I'll post pictures when I get started. Still looking for the Offshore Motor mount!!! My local Mercruiser Dealer said $420.00 Kinda Tight right now with this move and a Cruise to the Bahamas later this month!

Just a quick update, I got my hands on a 5.7 and Alpha 1 Gen2, and Transom Plates, I also found a after market Offshore Motor mount but I haven't ordered it yet. I have a few side jobs to do but.... I hope to get started by the end of Apr! My goal was to have her ready by Tiki Bar Opening at Solomons Island (17Apr), but I have more Side jobs than I planed for. I'll be posting Pictures of the progress when I get started!

its amazing how one owner takes care of it. and the next strips it and leaves it for dead. Good to see she will be saved.

No problem Todd, just glad I still had them. Keep us posted on the progress. I picked up a 1981 24 Pantera last summer, she has a small block / alpha drive setup too. So I'm working on a plan to give it a bit more power. Intake, heads, cam, etc...
