Don't you guys know that boat has been ran in salt water! I am sure it is horrible, better just give it to me. I'll scrap it for him:)

Cant scrap it , anything of value is worthless after a couple days in salt water environment. Most of our boats down here , regardless of age or maintenance schedule , are held together by the gelcoat only ( whats left of it ). Most engines and drives are basically rust being contained by fancy powdercoating and chrome.
I think I'll start a business that transports our worthless boats to Michigan . Once in Mich , we can drain all harmful fluids , pull the cork , let it go under for a few days , then re-float.
This should possibly double or even triple the percieved value.
The salinity would be closely monitored , because the salt released by these boats could kill all the fish for miles , only a handfull could be done each year.

i think, at least for me, one reason why i passed on it, is because south florida boats get used year round. as for our boats up here get used a few months a year, so our boats always have less hours, less use, MUCH lower corrosion, most often our seats are less faded etc and salt does do damage if not flushed properly and often, washed and rinsed. my grandfather kept his boat in florida on a lift for years and brought it up here and its just been replace this, fix that, etc etc all due to salt damage. and the fact that most of us up here when we think a boat is a 5 for up here, that is a 10 for south FL. but i would have loved to check the apache out just to see for my own eyes what it is.
