Hey guys - just wanted to introduce myself to this exclusive group. I am extremely humbled to now own The Chief. Although I cannot take any credit for all the work done to restore this masterpiece, I am extremely excited to now own it and enjoy it thoroughly! I have owned some very nice, modern, step bottom boats that were very fast.... but nothing that has the history, reputation, and class of a 41 Apache. I am looking forward to getting her in some rough water up here in Maine, as well as some lake love. I look forward to talking with some of you about your experience running these beasts.

frickstyle - Before this I had a 2012 Hustler Rockit with 1100s and prior to that a 2009 Nor-Tech 39v with 1000s - so this will be quite a change. I am excited though. I didn't make the move to specifically get into a flat bottom boat, but couldn't pass up this opportunity for one the best of the them (imo).
