You know what, as much as I would have preferred a hull like the 47 Apache restored to glory - if they have their weights and balances in line, as long as you can get those "Rude's to push/keep that boat on plane - you ARE coming home when the seas kick up!

Few things I've gleaned from the Hull Truth thread -
1) This guy F*CKED up a cool 47 Apache and a cool 38 KV Scarab!
2) He poured some serious time and energy into this project.....Just think if the same energy was put into restoring this 47!
3) I wanted to punch my computer as the Hull Truth continuously locked up on scroll with ads! WTF?

I read on there that Octavian was used as a tender for a mega yacht. Anyone know which one and/or have pics of it ?

Here's some pics of it in better days and even then it was neglected. Looks like it sold for 105k in 2005 at auction. That person I'm guessing was NOT happy with that purchase.

USauctions.com - Item Description: #6039: 1998 47ft Apache Warpath

3rd of these deals apparently. Didn’t care when it was an unwanted 44 tempest. 38kv, meh. But hacking up a 47 Apache for a pilot house is just retarded.

this is sad,as if there wasn't any fishing boats out there for him to use,he ruined a classic powerboat,at first i thought it was photoshopped then i threw up a little.

Whats retarded is a 47 Apache hull sitting around collecting dust. These are great hulls but are a "classic" from a bygone time. Everyone wants cats or center consoles. Straight nonstepped hulls are nice for their seaworthiness but old school. After having a ride in a Nor-tech Superfish 452 with 5 merc 400r's its like why do i need big v8's anymore. I mean I love them ... but

I will get flamed but FUGGIT thats where I am...
