i hope he doesnt change the shape of the cowl like he did on the 41, totally kills the lines of the boat.
I talked to them a couple years ago (2018) about Luckey Strike and little Cesars, among other things I asked about keeping the original livery. I was very disappointed I didnt get a hard yes at least about Little Cesars. Shelby sent this little blurb about Lucky Strike. ”The first stage will be to straighten out the hull and get rid of the "hooks". This will take approx. 8-9 months. Once that is complete we will begin fabrication. Like you, we believe in restoring these boats back to their original glory keeping the original builds--no turbines, all pistons, triple application--we don't stagger the engines.” |

I couldnt agree more. Truth be told I thought Sacred Ground was a gorgeous boat. TKOs work is absolutely fantastic, rigging looks amazing but I have a little issue with paint and fairing.

they are his to do as he wishes, the LC that he has is the only the original hull, the deck was done by some other guys after the crash. the original deck went to another boat that was made at the factory to be staggered.

I believe his plan is to redo LC as close to original as possible. Same with kid Apache and lucky strike. Those are more iconic boats than straight arrow which he did to his liking.
R&B thanks for the great pics. They are appreciated. |

These motors are not from LCPizza. Triple Cobra's in Richard Carr's Cougar

A computer rendition I put together of the hull - really excited to see her restored! Great news! |
I’d really love to have this PDF?

That looks really good. Do you have actual measurements that you worked off of? If so, would you care to share those? I'm making a 1/8 scale model of Kramer's 47' and it entirely done off photos.
