with guess for power 450hp ran 68mph with a 23 pitch 3 blade mercury propeller it was at 5400 rpm. Rode very well in rough water.

That would be a great candidate for an outboard conversion. What are they asking for it, wish I could see the ad, were do you find facebook ads?

Hey Walls, That is a 33ft Apache. I own the exact same boat built in 1987. And yes apparently there were only 4-5 ever built. Its based on Don Aronows 1969 "The Cigarette" which is a 32ft Cary hull with a 9.5 ft beam. Great boat if its still available!

it was in ruff shape sitting pretty much uncovered small ripped up tarp for about 12 years transom rotted and some stringers in the cabin. I was hopping it would be in a lot better shape floor was full of snow and frozen so couldn’t tell if it was soft. Needs gas tanks also

That is not what he told me. When I asked engines and drives which came out and condition of transom/stringers/tank - his reply

"502s XR drives. Transom and stringers are ok. Not sure on the tank. I would replace it regardless being an 89"


Did you see the boat or do you know of its history? Thanks

i drove 3 hours to look at it. He told me it was going To get crushed and he saved it. Someone put a deposit on it and backed out don’t know the reason.

What do you think it is worth. He is about an hour and half from me? Worth the drive or just keep looking. Would most likely convert to outboards.
