I have come across a 1990 Apache brave 28 named "Bad Medicine". It is in an auction but I also found listings for the boat and tried to contact the number with no response. I was looking through the threads on here about 28' braves and saw where somebody had mentioned this boat by name and said it may have been converted from a twin boat to a single. I was wondering if anybody knew anything about that or why that would be done to that boat. How was handling/balance affected? Or if it had been damaged/rotten in some way? And who did the conversion? The listing shows a 645 in³ big block from chief racing engines but I thought they made 632? Anymore info would be appreciated!

I may have posted that information. It was from the for sale ads I'd seen one and then subsequently saw one about within five years I think. There is also a video on youtube of it running. Couldn't tell you any first hand information about the boat. My understanding is Apache never made a single engine 28. It's a lot of boat for a single engine. I'd have to get a bow thruster for that boat.
