Mr. Bognar was obviously a passionate, expert boat handler. Sad to hear that he died, especially in the fashion he did.

So, what am I missing on this price? Seems ridiculously low.
Spoke with the broker and what seems to be a very low price, it can even be negotiated lower. ...Ins. is a factor , but all the $$$ that went into War Dancer?
Nancy Blauers paint job alone was big $$$.......want to go see it in the early new year if it doesn't get bought.

653 ci Super tall decks from Richie Zul were $75,000 each back when she was built, they are amazing motors. I had the same power in Allez Vite, they would push you back in your bolster like a line backer.

If your worried about insurance cost you should be looking a completely different boats. Insurance is peanuts compared to running this kind of High end powered go fast.

That's what the broker claims is a negative on the sale of War Dancer......not mine. I've had my issues with Ins. companies' on older go fast boats...... and unless you have a check for $244,000 no bank will
finance the purchase........Also, unless it's factory Mercruiser warrantee engine, what Ins. co. will insure 2 Richie Zull 1000 hp engines~ without robbing you!

In all the pictures the drives on the boat are not dry sumps, they are old style wet sumps. they ae claiming that it has dry sump drives big price difference. Just my two cents.
