well let me be the first to tell everyone of you; thank you. this has been one of the most educational projects that i have ever done. while not a lot of you responded to my exact questions, i kept with it and read what i feel is some fact and A LOT of hot air (no pun intended). Yeah i did some more research and found out the truth. thanks to all

I thought he was no longer involved, why would he apologize?

from what i have heard maybe he is no longer involved with apache but he IS apache and that is all there is to say about that. it is BOBBY that has a loyal following and probably feels he let them down, as does eric judging from his post. but what do i know i'm an outsider looking in. but hey seeing what you have posted i guess you know what is really going on LOL whatever. if it is ok i would really like to see your clientele. just to see the repeat customers. this is purley project related, and will not be released. please remember that i have spoken to many people regarding the apache deal and i wanted your input for a fair comparison.

What you said in your first sentence describes it all. He IS Apache. Notice the only people in this post who are not LOYAL fans of Bobby are not even Apache owners(at least from my perception). All of the Die hard Apache people and owners know that Bobby IS Apache!!!!! Several people have owned and built Cig's, but Don is CIG=Bobby is Apache!!!!

Well, we got the forward engine in and all hooked up today and the rear engine is in the back of the truck ready to go in first thing tomorrow, er today. Things are progressing right along. One of the drives is painted and it looks awsome, painters are doing a great job. Should have them both back Tues am. ready to bolt on the boat. The shift knobs, throttle lever plate, shift lever plate, and propshaft covers came back from the anodizer yesterday and DAMN do they look great! In keeping with the OLD APACHE HERITAGE I had all the stuff anodized and lazer engraved with the name of the boat and APACHE POWERBOATS. Hope I didn't step on any toes with that one. Hopefully we'll be making a little noise around here on Sunday, just in time for evening services, hey, everybody has their own religion, mine just happens to be of the native kind. Ya'll take care and have a great weekend and know that the spirit is alive and well in Ball Ground, Ga.

Bobby & Eric
Ya'll should come up here and do what ya'll do best. Cherokee County, home of the Cherokee's would be a great place to have boat building company with the ethical and moral values of Native Americans. Not to mention the fact that there are six local APACHES that I know of. One 47, One 41, Three 36's, and One 28. Land is cheap, labor is cheap, and it would be a hell of a lot of fun.
