Exactly!

Thaddeus & John Allen,

I have never seen so many do nothing, braggart individuals involved in the practice of slander, insults and bad mouthing as I’ve seen from you and your new organization over the past few months. I have never seen the NEW OWNER of what has now become a NEW START UP COMPANY trying to ride the coat tails of it’s heritage, use the marketing technique you and your organization practice by alienating past and potential clients with your uncalled for, rude, illegible and mostly incoherent public rants and insults on this web site and others. You have orchestrated and choreographed (very poorly I might add) public smear campaigns against people who for years have been held in the highest regard by their industry, which insults the intelligence of all knowledgeable readers, and shows tremendous jealously. In other words, your POW WOW pages are as big a joke as you are. You even insult readers directly. Respect, both personally and in the marketplace is EARNED, NOT PURCHASED. All I have seen from you and your new organization are unethical, uneducated, ignorant mouths spewing unwarranted venom and BS. EXTREEMLY UNPROFESSIONAL. And I’m supposed to buy one of your boats? I think not. I don’t care what you build. How you build it. Or in what facility. As far as the name going away………..who cares! Names don’t build boats or anything else, people do. You and your people build animosity and create enemies. Though judging from what I’ve read from you and your people I should expect nothing else.

With your attitudes, the attitudes you allow and seem to encourage in some of your employees, and your claim of wealth, you reinforce the fact that MONEY CANNOT BUY CLASS OR CENSE. You two (I really think your one in the same) obviously have neither.

FYI Thad & John,

• BRAGGART, as defined by Webster: a loud arrogant boaster - braggart adjective

• JEALOUS, one definition as defined by Webster: hostile toward a rival or one believed to enjoy an advantage

• RESPECT, one definition as defined by Webster: high or special regard

So, in closing I say………..why don’t both of you crawl back in the sewer through whichever man hole cover it is that you came from in the Bronx and take your 2.3m, your plane and your limo with you. I for one have heard and seen enough of you.:fish: WOW

spitfire1 10-13-2003 05:43 PM

This really is absurd.....I mean think about it....do you think Formula or Outerlimits or any other reputable company would be able to carry out a PR fiasco such as we are witnessing and still have a viable customer base in the end....These boats are really going to have to be peerless to weather this ongoing ****storm.....It is truly a shame because there is so much history and pride involved here......

Sean 10-13-2003 05:47 PM

these allen guys are something else...making threats on a public forum???

how about thad's post on his own site taking shots at jack? regardles of what happened, there appears to be a complete lack of professionalism on the part of the CEO and his brothers...

i guess that's why people are pulling orders...

later 10-13-2003 06:03 PM

ill just wait until he sells the company for a profit and then deal with the new owners! they should be cheaper by then.

Fountain the affordable performance boat that all of the high end boats compare to.

Huh?! Could somebody give the short story version to "quickly" catch us non-Apache hip folks up on the gist of all this?....

WARPAINT 10-13-2003 07:01 PM

OSO, please take note Warpaint is behaving himself:D

Nauti Kitty 10-13-2003 07:01 PM

Wow!

And I Quote:

"Crooked lumpy resin bucket over weight over priced junk purveyors" and "Warped slob built prehistoric resin puddle junk"

These seem to me to be two new and unusual ways of describing an offshore legend. :hothead:

Maybe a marketing class or two is in order.:eureka:

Just my .02 cents worth. NK

PhantomChaos 10-13-2003 07:02 PM

What is the deal? Why all this hype and no boats? It is sickening.

OldSchool 10-13-2003 07:20 PM

I can't believe it:rolleyes: Is there an Apache curse or something? What a shame.

I've said it before, I'll say it again... You can't buy class:)

Just shut up and build boats, the boating community will decide if it's worth a damn (or customers, but I can't imagine anyone stupid enough to buy one!!)

Craig

Tonto 10-13-2003 07:22 PM

DAMN! I'm going to repaint my boat and change it to a COMMANCHE.

Robert

Nauti Kitty 10-13-2003 07:28 PM

Hey Robert please keep that over weight resin bucket near me on the way to Key West so I know where the next bar is. :D NK

Semper Fi 10-13-2003 07:35 PM

I really would like to see "Apache" bring the Legend back. They were awesome boats and hopefully, with new technology, they can be better.

I also think that Thad's brother (Principal35000---who posts on the boatdesign.net board) is really an arogant a$$hole who is really turning prospective customers away from even considering a new Apache. If I was Thad, I would beat his a$$. He has been making threats to people on a public forum---what an idiot.

Tonto 10-13-2003 08:02 PM

NK,
Your on buddy, I'll try to keep up with that light weight SABER of yours and BIG power. Can't make too many stops on the way if we hang out at Gilbert's so long like we did last year. I think I might leave a touch early so I can stop a couple of times. My last stop is at Burdine's for fuel in Boot Key channel in Marathon.
Robert

sean stinson 10-13-2003 08:26 PM

WOW

That's all I can say

Little Tommy 10-13-2003 08:31 PM

It has come to my attention that a certain someone at APACHE has been bad-mouthing the existing APACHE's that have been built over the past years. I know it cannot be the CEO because he is too intelligent to lower himself to that level.

How proud my wife and I are to own a Saccenti built APACHE. And when I read comments on these boards, it is nothing but sickning. Why do people have to be so hurtful and jealous of the past, and try to ruin the reputations of these very important people???

I would bet bottom dollar that people will spend money with an experienced builder that has the knowledge behind them, before buying from a new kid on the block with no experience what-so-ever using an exisitng name.

This is not about money, it is about pride and heritage.
Money cannot buy everything. And remember, us old APACHE guys stick together.

spitfire1 10-13-2003 08:33 PM

And this is the same Steve Wilson who bad mouthed Powerplay....Active Thunder....while using several aliases on this board.....who should have been under a gag order.......and now is Executive VP of the new Apache?????  Unreal.......and now he is running his mouth again....to the detriment of the new Apache.......how is a potential buyer going to deal with this nonsense????? Do these guys have any idea what this does to product image?????? .....Its no wonder Bob Saccenti left.....Its truly amazing how this can happen to guys like Bob and Keith.....truly amazing......

IS THAT A DESCRIPTION OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER BOAT, HENCE WHY IT (APACHE) WAS RESSURECCTED?

WOW...NOW I AM CONFUSED:confused:

DaveP 10-13-2003 08:33 PM

To refer to Mr. Saccenti with such slander just shows what a bunch of morons these people really are.

No one in this business is a genius. There are alot of very talented people in this business that are very gifted in their own respects. These same people may or may not be good business people (good - meaning able to run a company profitably).

I am not the first one to say this here or elsewhere but:

*Mr. Saccenti is a gentleman
*Mr. Saccenti has seen more in this business than most alive on this earth
*Mr. Saccenti is a boat craftsman that has often been imitated but never duplicated
*Mr. Saccenti does not deserve the Allen Bros. SLANDER
* Mr. Allen's remarks show that MONEY STILL CANNOT BUY CLASS OR BRAINS!

Based on their current pulic relations campaign - who wants to bet they do not get one deposit at Miami in Feb. 2004?

Here is my $1.00 - I'm in!

Anyone going to be in Lauderdale this week-end???

We are flying down on friday to spend time in our "old resin bucket". I'll buy the 1st round, heck, I'll buy all night. After all, It's only money!

I bet my old resin bucket will bring me great joy this week-end. :p

Tommy

cuda 10-13-2003 09:24 PM

Geez, as if TA didn't do enough damage himself when he came on and forbid all employees to post on Oso (though he did graciously "allow" Bobby to do so), he has to bring his brother on board who apparently know even less about keeping a good name with the public. They remind me of someone who fixes up their house for an ultra lavish party, then offends anyone who may have had the notion to show up, and nobody does.

Or two fourth graders arguing that their daddy can beat up your daddy.

Little Tommy 10-13-2003 09:40 PM

I want my mommy. :hothead:

Roger 1 10-13-2003 09:55 PM

I want an old ''Resin Bucket''.

Little Tommy 10-13-2003 10:03 PM

Jack and Roger, you are invited on my "old resin bucket" anytime.

"When I grow up, I want to be just like
Steve wilson!" :hothead:

P.S. Ask me if I care if he likes me or not!

Little Tommy
