I remember those 575hp packages from mercruiser combined with #3SSM drives. 540ci? I still have a super low hour (10) right hand #3SSM drive from a 575 that I bought from Ron Doller 17/19 years ago?

I see that now that you point it out. Since the original quote was embedded in your statement and not in the inset that usually contains the quote, I missed it. It doesn't change anything though as I was responding in general to whomever posted it.
