Super T was that 47 in europe? If so it sounds like the one that was dropped and Mark put a new hull under it in 1998, and is now all white and being redone here in muskegon Michigan.

pretty sure that 47 was in europe, in st. tropez to be precise. it was used for ads in european magazines so i'll try to find some photos. not easy though, this was circa 1990 and while I do keep most of my mags, this was a looong time ago...

SAM has#6's and is know HAMMERHEAD and is still in St. Tropez last I knew, it needs a complete restoration. I went there to buy it in the spring of 2004, it was a massive disappointment. So I bought to 41 I always wanted and enjoyed watching race.

BTW, the new Apache built by McManus that was exhibited in Miami last year and called TSUNAMI was also spotted in St. Tropez this summer. Grey-silver paint, #6 drives and I believe Teague (?!) motors. I have a pic somewhere...

Super T. HAMMERHEAD may still be for sale, I don't know. It was surposed to have Cheifs but they looked more like KE's and she needs a full rebuild and rerig and glass work and repaint, which should be done by the MASTER him self Mark McManus. SAM has always been in europe starting with Italy, then France, so I thought it would be cool to bring her home to the US. I understand TSUNAMI is back at APACHE but St. Tropez is her home port, and it does have Teagues,I her she has alot of hours on her already.

Nykamp, who was selling HAMMERHEAD? Was it SPORTMER or MERCURIO?
I have no trouble believing that TSUNAMI has a lot of hours. I've seen the boat running around St. Tropez quite a few times last summer. It looked like it has a taller fairing than original 41s. Awesome nonetheless.
Thanks for the info.
