hammerhead is for sale again. asking around $120K. being advertised with chief 900s and #6s. They say 1 hour on engines, over 85 tops. Any truth in all that?

I saw that too but after hearing that it sank in 2005 and was under for quite a while I would not want it. I belive the engines where 850´s but maby they upgraded them a little.

Where is it listed? Is there a good site for classifieds from Europe, I have a freind looking for something that would be more popular over there, Thanks. Steve

I know you guys mostly are into the bigger ones but probably 8 yrs ago or so (before this site was around) I was out looking at boats and I saw this boat , said Apache all down the side in Apache script.....looked to be about 28ft or so.......I thought about enquiring but the interior needed to be all replaced.....it had twin smallblock chevys and Volvo drives which seemed a little wierd to me......it had real nice lines though.....flat transom......it also had this 1ft wide bulkhead btween the cabin and the v berth with a sink in it........does all that sound like an Apache???........I thought of getting it as a project and might have if it had bigblocks and Mercs......doug

Yep probadly a Bobby built 28, I have never heard of one with Volvo drives but it could be, you never know. The 28's are a great boat and they are rare, I don't think there is a single one for sale in the whole US.
