APACHE at it again!!!
#174
I walk away for a while and I see it's time to throw another bag of popcorn in the microwave! I'm swamped at work today so I can't participate much (I know it breaks your hearts
) I can't believe the activity on this thread! Wow.
Well since my popcorn is ready...
I admire the brand loyalty that Apache owners seem to have, BUT I don't think there is one of you loyalist that wouldn't trade your "Testarosa" for that "school-bus"!!! If you want a "Testarosa" trade in that Apache for a 28' Skater! Otherwise, if you want the finest in BIG WATER go FAST vee hulls there isn't much that TOPS that "school-bus"!!! And yes, I'd take a "school-bus" that out runs, handles better, looks better, rides nicer, offers all of the comforts of a living room, and is worth far more than that "Testarosa"!!!
Ahhh, love the smell of butter!

cashbrain,
while I admire your enthusiasm, the boat that was running off my port side last Monday did not have plenty more of anything left for me.
When I noticed you guys coming on, I gave it a go, and went. I admit, at that point I was going faster than 75 - 80 (probably more like 95-100) Either way, it was fun. I would have liked to keep going instead of ducking into Port Everglades.

Warpaint,
If you think that boat scared me, you are mistaken. How much longer did you guys want to let an 18,000 pound yacht with 7 people on board make that other boat look silly??????? The Apache turned off prior to me turning into the inlet.
