I saw you as well on the Key West run. I wanted to come check it out at Gilberts. I ended up having to move my rig because the current was pulling the cleats out of the first boat in the chain. Never got a chance.
Why are you selling it? You should just buy "Fire and Ice." It's basically for sale.
If you don't, just promise you won't paint it with ghost flames in yellow and orange (like a Harley gas tank) it's been done, plenty.

To deny that OL's are not the fastest pleasure V's is silly. Forget the Kilos, Fiore's boats for the most part CAN go faster, with the right operator, than the others. He has a different customer base thats willing to spend upwards of $2000.00 an hour, not including depreciation, to run them ( ask Animal after he gets done "freshening up" that beast of his !) OL's epoxy layup has raised the bar again, and thats great, but it's big $. The average 41 Apache is being purchased for less than many of these OL's depreciate in the first three months, not exactly apples to apples.
I have a great deal of respect for Mr. Fiore's boats, especially with him ( or two or three of his long time customers) running them but two more observations.
1. When we've run with many of them ( never a 47 or a 51) they seem to lose their confidence and slow down when it starts getting choppy, (thank God for us)
2. The owners never seem to "fall in love" with their boats, It seems as though they're always looking forward to their next boat ?
All this said, I expect an OL to squarely kick our a$$ this year ( Kevin King ,who had one of the nicest running Cig RR is building a 47 GTX I think for the sole purpose of finally getting by us) cause they got plenty of speed, but I'm not sure how much fun they are at those big speeds, and after the ego's been satisfied it better be fun cause thats all this is really about.
