I'm new to OSO and learning a lot about different makes etc. I don't know much about Apache, but it seems there is quite a history.

Can anyone help me with a quick history lesson or send a link to a previous thread on the same topic.

I'm really curious about the recent change in ownership, Chief Powerboats, and if there is going to be two clicks in the community, the old vs. new manufactured boats. And are the Apache die hards going to go to Chief when it's time to buy new?

APACHE IS HISTORY!

I am beginning to understand why all threads with the "A" word end up in a mud slinging fiesta...It's sad that such a great boat with such a history has to have so many definitions of what an Apache actually is.
