OK.... after doing a further search... it isn't patent #36879... it is RE#36879.. which is a reissue of patent # 5456202... that is a valid patent number for Harry L Schoell... if you read the claims and specifications.... the patent claims are about stability at displacement speeds and the step introducing air under the hull to break suction or friction and the chine to keep spray off the occupants of the boat...... it is a valid patent....

Wow, moving to the Apache forum really kills a post. Well anyways, the worlds dumbest lawsuit will be ruled on probably this year. Mark M is patient, and is in for the long haul. After Thad "I want to be an offshore player, however, I can't seem to build a boat, but I'm the worlds best businessman" Allen loses and has to change the name of his company, maybe he'll go away. We can only hope :)

I felt surely the comment about the Twin Steve's abilities would turn my monitor into a I.E.D. Not a peep. As far as court goes, I wish McManus the best. The Apache's McManus built are the best rough water boats on the Jersey shore. |

Re: Apache in the West Palm Beach news
Well, it seems I have entered an invalid user name and password, to get on the site. I guess Jack is controlling who he lets on his site.
Anyways, here's my take on the deal. Marc McManus built/builds great offshore boats,I know I got one. For ANYONE to come in and think just because they are a good businesman that they can build a great offshore boat, they are sadly misstaken. Thad, if you read all this, you need to go get youself some seat time in a REAL offshore boat and stop listening to people who are telling yo false truths. If you want to go out, I'll be glad to take you out. I think my buddy Jim Dietz said something about it cost about $2000.00 an hour to run one of these boats, between engine maintaince, drive maintaince, and overall upkeep. I know I just spent $60,000.00 between new engines and having the drives rebuilt and this is on a 13 year old boat, but it's better than anything yo got, ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha Robert |
