Can I be a member of the Tribe?
I just brought her home last week!! Thanks to Bobby Saccenti, can't believe he still makes time to help out a guy buying a boat he built 14 years ago! Saber28 and Lotoparty for their advise on the 28! What a solid boat, just gotta name her!

Thanks again for your help Loto, turns out the guy was pretty cool and really took care of me. The boat is cleaner than I expected. Trailer's shot but the boat is awesome! Is yours an Aluminum trailer, if so, how is it? Good/bad? I need to start shopping for a new one.

yes , mine is aluminum (magic-tilt).
im not to thrilled about the way the boat sits on it but ive asked around and its fine the way it is. it tows good though , and lighter then a steel one.
just gotta get used to it. all my other boats had steel trailers with forward bunks. ive recently added forward bunks and it made a world of difference when it comes to loading the boat. all it had before was the big rear bunks with the ugly verticle pvc poles for guides and a plastic keel pad in the front. boat didnt center itself very well. dealing with a dealer and the factory was a nightmare. sent the wrong parts 3 times but they didnt give up. after 3 weeks i finally got them installed. i also removed the vertical poles in the back. i wont need them with the forward bunks installed. ide buy another aluminum trailer but probably not a magic-tilt. their customer support is terrible im my opinion.
