Re: Anyone know who owns Hoggie?
I agree, that's why I want to talk to the owner..he already lied to me.. * told me that it was Benny's personal race boat..it isn't(it belonged to Willie and Sal) * told me the motors have 2 hours on them...they don't(one of the motors doesn't run and they are original) * told me that they did a small repair on the bottom( delam is not a small repair) I like projects..specially this boat, but the boat is not worth 95..not even close. |

Thanks for the heads up,Steve...

Re: Anyone know who owns Hoggie?
Hoggie steering was on the port side in 2002 when Fort Apache had it for sale when they were on 188. I was in it and considering it if me first 36 didn't survey well. Jack buy STARCHASER if it isn't already sold, it's in the OSO class. Do the Lanza brother still have JENNY EXPRESS for sale?
|
Re: Anyone know who owns Hoggie?
Steve..I don't know if Jenny's express is still owned by the Lanza's..
What was to finding on the inspection? |
Re: Anyone know who owns Hoggie?
Hoggie looked pretty good back then, a 3 pack would be a though boat to sell, 6 pack take a long time to it seems, even pleasures don't sell real quick. The boat Robert brought up ON THE WARPATH would be a nice ride, it's on boattrader and has been for sale for a while. You could by the 36 from Todd right in your home town.

Re: Anyone know who owns Hoggie?
What about "Star Chaser" ? It was at 45k in Extreme Boats mag.
|
Re: Anyone know who owns Hoggie?

Re: Anyone know who owns Hoggie?
STARCHASER is in OSO class. with #6's for $60,000. I wish it was still yellow with the head dress down the sides. It is completely stripped with everything in box.

That is one of my Friends 41. It hails from Long Island, It has Stotler 850,s. 1/4 cabin, short stagger. I believe it has 3a's. Boat ran a solid 90MPH. The people who currently own it, haven't used it in a year or 2. I would expect it to need some paint work, because it was a little faded in some areas. The cabin & cockpit are black & pink, mostly pink. :-( I believe the engines are relatively fresh, the trannys were replaced and 1 drive was also replaced before the put it up for sale. Fred |

How do you feel about 47's?? Ride? & Power needed? |
Re: Anyone know who owns Hoggie?
the 47 has a go ride. you still need three 1000hp to do 100mph that is more matance to do.

Hoggie ran P2 at the SBI worlds. VERY un impressive BOTH days for a supposed 100+ boat. That boat used to be called COUGAR at one time and did some class 1 racing in europe in the 80's. It's been AROUND! If I remember correctly that boat belonged to the Seahawk boys, it was shipped to England and they raced a couple of races then the S$#@ hit the fan and the boat ended up at Cougar and had Seahawk removed and Cougar put on, It sat there in the shops at Hamble for years and was shipped back, the guy that owned it was Joe Rupert he also owned Apache landings with a guy named Juan Almeda two quite colorful guy's.......... There is another Seahawk boat up here although most of you will have never seen it ,It was built in England by the Cunninghams and has the engines mounted on top of the tunnel......THe boat looks like a giant hydro. Hey BG and JNT...Mark will give me the template of his bolsters,if I can get the boat(at the right price)...You,me, and a naked girl between us :D :D |
