The boat is ROUGH...saw it at SBI and didn't run worth a ...
changed the steering to port, and the bottom was damaged...it was Willie & Sal's boat...
Project boat at best...

When I saw the boat,it had Starboard steering and the current pics show the steering to port with a throttle box thrown in and the hole plugged with a plate on the starboard side.Should have gone directly to center steer....

Bobby told me a great story about Benny jumping a submarine wake wide open..nothing in the boat and when it came down,it broke Jack Kramers leg..compound fracture. He said it was like going over Niagra Falls :D

I LMAO everytime I come across that pic of you driving that old boat with no drivers bolster in it. Step up to the plate. Boats are a way better investment than real estate. You know that!!!

We say him at the SBI race in New orleans . it rode nose high and had a hard time getting on plane , I guess big wheels. It was loud :D

hehehe...that bolster was in fine shape..we had monstrous water that day on a COPS run and I came off a wave and almost stuffed into the next one.Probably my fat azz that did it :D
I have a beautifull Mistress and I want to move up to a Flat Deck or an APACHE..Should have gone that route to begin with.I tried to buy Subtle Approach many times and it just didn't work out.Funny thing..when I took out the head in the CIG,all the parts were marked Lanier..Benny's partner :D

A few exerpts from the threads Rob highlighted..I spoke to Mark(Magnum) and he said the boat was originally named Cougar..he knows his stuff

Hoggie ran P2 at the SBI worlds. VERY un impressive BOTH days for a supposed 100+ boat. That boat used to be called COUGAR at one time and did some class 1 racing in europe in the 80's. It's been AROUND!

If I remember correctly that boat belonged to the Seahawk boys, it was shipped to England and they raced a couple of races then the S$#@ hit the fan and the boat ended up at Cougar and had Seahawk removed and Cougar put on, It sat there in the shops at Hamble for years and was shipped back, the guy that owned it was Joe Rupert he also owned Apache landings with a guy named Juan Almeda two quite colorful guy's.......... There is another Seahawk boat up here although most of you will have never seen it ,It was built in England by the Cunninghams and has the engines mounted on top of the tunnel......THe boat looks like a giant hydro.

Also from one of the threads Rob posted....I know Al Copeland and we wound up going on his 100' yacht parked on the dock at one of the parties that year...we had alot of fun....

Cashbrain -- I think I know what your problem was. When I saw you, you were WAY too sober. Thanks for scoring us the yacht tour. Pretty neat. That was the prettiest girl I have had elbow me in the chest in a long time.

I have only seen one straighter than that .We where in in New Orleans in1990-91 Race when Dirty Laundry stood it straight up and broke a drive and he still finished :D I wish I had a pick of that one.

Also I bet Stan Ware probably knows some history on it also.

The last I heard, it was listed at Sunny Isles for $95,000. I don't know anything else about it. I saw it listed on boattrader.com

I talked to Brian a few months ago, he said the boat was forsale. I haven't talked to him since. I have a cell number. Will try in the morning. Big air shot at Destin due to co-pilot (shady) using to much drive trim.
