which logo for 41?
 

which logo is correct for an 88 or 89 41? i've seen the round yellow apache powerboats logo & the one below[my good pix was to large of a file]. is there a right or wrong logo that belongs on the boat when they left the factory? i'm talking about a pleasure version here. there was a head[on the boat] similar to the one pictured on the cab-over semi that lucy posted on the apache pix thread. thanks,

The nickel head is the trade mark, the round with the yellow. Did you buy Suble Approach? I here it's in Chicago know, have a good one. Steve

Out of the three I like the one in post 26. Out of all of them I like the original nickel head in post 4.

The second one looks really cool!
Maybe needs the eyesocket defined just a little bit by darkening ?

I think that to any true Apache enthusiast the original logo is the best but making the boats unique is part of the fun of owning one now. Now days, Apache owners have the fun of customizing these boats with new technology, new power and styles that are very fresh and exciting. i love seeing creative ideas that can morph into something that is out of the ordinary and a true original. Even large companies that have been around for years update their logos and styles or even the way they do business. The one thing that will not change is the fact that the boat will always be an APACHE. No matter what styles or updates the boat takes throughout its life anyone who owns it knows why they bought it and why they love owning it. i updated the eye to a darker color and i think it did help. thanks for the suggestion

The logo's were personalized even back then.
There are at least 2 41's with sunglasses on the indian's face.
I'm sure there are other variations that I'm not aware of...

Viper, the "death head" Apache logo is sweat but I think it would look better if the skull had a little more "aggression" in him. Little more "life" or personality to the skull, ya know? Throw some teeth and a grin. Little more animated I guess is what I'm saying.

Good idea. Give the skull some fangs or something to see what that looks like. Make it mean looking, like this.
