TOASTY - How's your 22 coming along? I almost picked that one up last year... I couldn't get there fast enough.

I may be picking up a 22 Scout that is missing the bottom to the back seat so I may need some measurements if anyone cares to get the tape measure out.

i wish i had more time to finish it. Lots of work. Looking for a fair price on upholstry for it. And redoing the 225 johnson. The person who owned it beat the mtor up so bad that the mid section had lateral movement. Was talking to Mr. S. and he suggested to put the motor on the transom. Lets see what we can do with it and then I will start playing, was going to take 8" out of the B bracket but i am going to hold off. It needed a ceomplete re rig, and they left the boat in the water so long that the bottom needed to be wet sanded, could not pressure or acid wash the bottom, so while I was under there getting a bad back, i just blue printed and buffed it back. It was a mess, I wish you beat me to it. but they are fun and working on it keeps me of the streets

Love,
CDC

The 22 Scout I am looking at will need a full redo as it has been sitting for some time also. Keep at it and remember this is what we love to do!

On a different note I found a nice deal on a 22 Avanti I/O that needs no work... thinking about that cause I would rather use the boat than work on one right now. So now I am like... Apache or Avanti...
