Awesome is in business with new owner at st louis facility, Dan Mintz bought all of awesome and is retooling 24,30,34,40 molds, the 38 has one of the biggest cabins in a cat, good solid boat for a good price with alot of room, runs 100mph with 575's.

Thanks for the info. I currently have a 312 Formula and I know this will be a big step up for me if I decide to pursue this type of boat.

DAn can put you in a brand new one with 525's for under 300k they also build their own motors if you want more power.

a 38' should see 130-135mph depending on props and drives, It also has a large cabin, and no exotic layup materials.

I think he said around 120mph. He did mention how big the cabin was and that was surprising. Didnt think cat's had much of a cabin. So, ho does the ride and drive of a cat differ from a v-hull? Take a while to gert use to or easier? He said it has to run on 93 octane but the highest any marina goes up to is 91 here. Maybe a stupid question but can i just add octane boost and be ok? One more question, with that much power and it only having XR drives am i prone to throw drives with that much power?
