That's great info thanks! How do I post pics?

Dont know either how to post pics,
Sad part,, Im sure my kids can show me.
Keep your eyes on the water pressure and temp gauges.

I found running both, lwp and transom pick ups work the best.
I tried each and found out that i need both to get good water pressure, above 10 psi,
Happy boating !!

Thanks for the info, going to give it a try later today,
Feline, did you decide to keep yours?

Last year in Montreal, did not have enough water to get mine in the water,
I have a myco trailer with engine guards.
Great trailer, but needs to go deep to get her in.
Hoping to get her in very soon,

Would love to see 3 motors on yours,:)
Only a little more money :((

Ok I tried....what's your email Feline?

blackbird345 06-13-2013 10:45 PM

Btw, I jacked center engine up all the way and adjusted outside engines so they were toe'd in at the front about 1/4". These two adjustments eliminated the issue of water splashing up on the engines, except when jumping a wave or turning sharp...so center engine should probably come a little higher to eliminate completely. I need bigger props...right now I have 28 chopper in middle and 24 chopper outside....top speed same around low 70s.... i know its pathetic but props are killing me...

STV92 06-14-2013 07:23 AM

Jack the center one up, watch water pressure,
Center one will spash 2 outsides.
Prop will slip going on plane, "watch your rpms"
Solid motor mounts a must on the center because she will dance
Props x3 is a costly mistake. :(
Tim from performance prop did a great job with mine, :)
Summer is hear, run what you got,,

That's funny u mention the center dancing bc that was really freaky! Solid mounts fix that? I'm looking at 28 cleavers....any opinion? Will I need more lift?

STV92 06-16-2013 07:36 AM

Cleavers will give not give you the bow lift, my 2 cents :(
I run choppers which has run the best,
3 blades outside, 4 blade in the middle,
26 outside and a 28 in the middle,

They are heavy boats and will not pack air until you run 70+
Also will not run in calm water.
Rougher the condition, now you start packing air.

Run it in a head wind on a rough day, now your having fun.

Calm water, enjoy cruising with a drink :))
