Default Any tried 28p Cleaver props on a 31ft?

I have a 31 ft with three 300X outboards. Thinking about trying cleavers on the two outside engines. Choppers have given a lot of bow lift but not top speed. Lightning ETs gave me better top end with less bow lift. I'm nervous about the cleavers not giving enough lift. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Matthew

I have the same boat but with two 300 with the 28 cleavers the bow lift is not good they work good in rough water only!

Not yet. One of the cleavers has a small bend/dent in one of the blades, so need to get that straightened then should be good for a test...

I have 31 cleavers on my 31' with twin 250xs motors. I gained about 5 mph over 4 blade 29 hydro motives that were lab bed. Hole shot, about same but mid range and top speed much better. I say try it,I'll never go back. Jmop?

Thats pretty dang good! Ive considered a bracket. Did yours put the motors in front of the tunnel? Im considering using jackplates....but liked the idea of a platform style offshore setback bracket. The designer pf this hull is quoted as saying to mount the engines as close to the transom as possible and directly behind the sponsons for max performance...but speed isnt everything
