So, My goal for a while has been a reliable 100MPH ride on a "budget"
Previous boat was a 29' Velocity with 1020hp... It did run 104 mph..
But was a LOT of maintenance and a bit of a handful on our rough ass lake.
I picked up a 2003 Awesome with 525's
Ended up going through the engines but left 'em mostly stock.
She gets 1.2 - 1.5 MPG and I have a total investment of $65,000
Rides GOOD and handles our lake decent .. Not done testing but I HAVE met my goal

I held it at WOT for a good 15 minutes
Temps stayed STEADY.. she runs out GOOD
