well, the weahter wasnt very good this weekend and when he showed up. his boat wouldnt start. so i guess we are just going to have to wait.

I say it will be close, so run a few miles and crack the hatch , u should be a couple mph faster, mine ran 68.6 gps with a 502

this just in. had to do a few runs this weekend to learn this new boat. today was the best run. about a one foot chop, with a little more then half tank of fuel i hit 68.3 on gps. does this sound like where i should be in a 2002 25 outlaw 496 ho.

My speed
25 OL going down river 66.8 GPS 1/4 tank of gas two people plain 496 mag 23p mirage trimming too much resulted in a speed loss so excess trim up will hurt you |

I dont know about the OL's but my 98' 272 w/ 502 mag has hit 70 on the speedo before but must have had wind to my back because 65-67mph sounds more like it under normal conditions. I added a couple 100lbs of stereo equipment and that also took a couple mph..
